Hotel 'Adrere Emilal' This is the name of the hotel in the Amazigh language, which translated into Arabic Hotel 'White Mountain', this hotel is one of the strangest hotels in the world, if not the strangest of them, and which kidnaps you from the life of hustle and bustle and technology and takes you back to a time before the era of speed and technology.

In this hotel, there is no such thing as electricity, no mobile phone, or anything from our current era. Everything there is from nature and from the desert environment, meaning all lighting through candles and lanterns, and food depends on vegetables grown in the hotel’s garden, and cooking depends on traditional methods. The one who used to cook with it the people of the desert in the past.

The hotel is a sandy hotel consisting of 40 rooms, built in the middle of the desert on the outskirts of Siwa Oasis. Its walls were built entirely of sand and Siwa soil, which they call 'kershat', which is salt coated with mud and is considered a heat-insulating building material like bricks. Adobe like this was used in construction in Siwa for thousands of years, and this makes Adreer Emilal feel like a cool oasis in the midst of the scorching heat of the desert.

The doors of the hotel are earthen and the ceiling of the rooms is made of palm trees and the furniture is all primitive from nature. It is surrounded by 7 salt lakes, with olive and palm trees in harmony, making you feel that you entered a time gap that took you back thousands of years.

Many tourists specially come to stay at this hotel to live the experience. The most famous person who visited the hotel and stayed there was Prince Charles, Crown Prince of England and his wife, and paid a decent amount.
